LOCATION
We are getting married in The Tramuntana Mountains in Biniaraix, Mallorca
Biniaraix is a small sleepy village with only one bar, one restaurant and a chapel. Set in the foothills of the mountains. There is barely any accommodation here so we recommend you stay in either Fornalutx or the centre of Soller which are both short drives and within walking distance.
Fornalutx
Fornalutx is where we are staying and the next best proximity to all the action. It’s a gorgeous small village with an epic mountain backdrop and cute little restaurants and bars.
FAVE RESTAURANTS
Lovely family run place, Modern Mediterranean Cuisine with fresh ingredients
2 restaurants with basic local Cuisine and stunning views over the mountains. Warning staff can be a bit moody
Cute bar with Tapas food in the heart of the square
There are also other bars that serve food, Molon - A more British inspired Tapas place and a Pizza place we haven’t tried!
SOLLER
Soller is a slightly bigger town but still gorgeous and picturesque, set in a valley of orange groves between the mountains and the sea. This is also a great place to stay if you haven’t booked accommodation yet with more choice than Fornalutx. Probably best to stay in the centre rather than near the port as it’s closer to all wedding action. Central Soller is about a 25-30 minute walk and just an 8 minute drive. It’s also not too far from where we are staying in Fornalutx (about 15 min drive)
DEIA
Deia is a little further out from the venue but such a nice place to visit if your staying a bit longer. If your there try Cala Deia, a dreamy beach with 2 ocean side restaurants and a cute village with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Let us know if you need reccos.
